Billing

If doula care is included in your plan, I will bill Kaiser directly for 100% of my services. I do not require a retainer or charge any additional out-of-pocket fees.

If you’re interested in working with me, please call Kaiser Member Services to confirm that doula care is a covered benefit under your specific plan. At this time, I’m unable to bill Medi-Cal plans.

Prenatal​

Virtual Introductory Call (20–40 minutes)
If you’re local to the coast (or want to come to Half Moon Bay), we can also meet in person.

Birth Planning (about 2 hours, in person or virtual)
We’ll complete a birth plan and talk through what to expect at the hospital. If your goal is an unmedicated birth, we’ll start building a clear game plan here.

Virtual Check-In
We’ll review resources I’ve sent, and you can bring any questions or concerns.

​

Postpartum Planning (about 2 hours, in person)
We’ll create a postpartum plan and discuss recovery, infant feeding, and sleep.

Comfort Measures + Birth Roadmap (about 2 hours, in person)
We’ll cover early labor strategies, pushing, and complete a birth roadmap worksheet. Includes TENS unit rental + demo, plus hands-on comfort tools like rebozo techniques and peanut ball positions.

Birth Support

Whether it’s 8pm or 2am, 5 hours or 30 hours—once I leave my house, I’m with you. Birth is unpredictable, and I’m prepared for the full range of what labor can bring.

What to Expect From Visits

• In-person visits: typically 1.5–3 hours. I’m flexible and don’t like to rush—there’s always room for questions.

• Virtual visits: via Zoom or phone.

• In-person location: your home or wherever you’re most comfortable.
